Art.

“The most visible creators I know are those artists whose medium is life itself, the ones who express the inexpressible-without brush, hammer, clay or guitar. They neither paint not sculpt-their medium is being. Whatever their presence touches has increased life. They see and don’t have to draw. They are the artists of being alive.

–J. Stone

Worthy of a nail in your wall, true art hangs on your heart.

Struggling for years to understand myself, I look back and see the process of becoming is my art. Everything I endured, mistakes I made, progress, set-backs and the messiness of life all worked together to create the masterpiece of me.

Wanting others to see their own masterpiece, I make art and write words giving hope.

Loving vibrant art, I paint and create mixed media, colored pencil, and photography. My paint and colored pencil art are available for purchase.

How do you know if something is real art? Only the creator of the art and the creator of the Universe know its original intent. Art can be created to understand oneself or a situation, to give understanding to others, or for monetary purposes. Beautiful or ugly, it’s all art. You decide if it’s art to you. Does it speak to you? Does it bring beauty to your space? Do you like it? Think of it like watching a movie, everyone has different preferences, movies have different purposes. Art is that. Spirit to spirit it gives back. Bettering the world, true art manifests growth.
